Hudson’s Furniture is a second-generation, family-owned company that has been Turning Houses into Homes since 1981. We’re looking for dependable, hardworking individuals to join our Distribution Center team.

This is a hands-on, physically demanding warehouse position where you’ll work in different areas of the operation based on daily needs. From receiving and organizing incoming furniture to pulling merchandise, operating warehouse equipment and preparing customer orders, you’ll play an important role in keeping our Distribution Center moving.

PAY & SCHEDULE

• $15.00/hour

• $250 New Hire Bonus for eligible Stock Picker-certified candidates

• Monday–Friday

• 5:30 AM–2:00 PM or 6:30 AM–3:00 PM

• 30-minute lunch

• No regular weekends

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Load and unload furniture from trucks.

• Receive, scan, verify and organize incoming merchandise.

• Pull furniture from warehouse racks for customer and store orders.

• Operate cherry pickers and other warehouse equipment as trained and authorized.

• Move and properly place merchandise throughout the warehouse.

• Assist with organizing and maintaining warehouse racks.

• Verify item numbers, quantities and labels for accuracy.

• Use hand trucks, pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment as needed.

• Keep work areas clean, organized and safe.

• Move between warehouse departments and assist wherever needed.

• Follow all company safety procedures and supervisor instructions.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

This is an active and physically demanding position. Team members must be able to:

• Lift up to 75 lbs. independently.

• Maneuver furniture weighing up to 300 lbs. using appropriate equipment and/or assistance from another team member.

• Stand and walk for extended periods.

• Frequently lift, carry, push, pull, bend, stoop and reach.

• Work efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

• Work in areas that may be exposed to changing temperatures and weather conditions.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

• Current Stock Picker certification is highly desirable and qualifies eligible new hires for our $250 bonus.

• Previous warehouse or equipment experience is preferred, but we’ll train the right person.

• Dependable attendance and punctuality.

• Strong work ethic and willingness to stay productive.

• Ability to work safely while maintaining a steady pace.

• Attention to detail when scanning, receiving, pulling and organizing merchandise.

• Team-oriented attitude and willingness to help in different areas of the warehouse.

• Ability to follow instructions and communicate effectively.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
